CORA TORONTO 2006
32nd ANNUAL MEETING

June 1, 2006

Toronto, ON

The 2006 CORA Annual Meeting is being held once again in conjunction with the COA and CORS Annual Meeting. The CORA meeting will take place one day before the COA meeting. We encourage all residents to stay on after the CORA meeting to attend the COA conference.

The meeting’s main event this year is already the envy of many other associations. The Canadian public and private health care systems debate has been ruling the headlines this year – through an automated audience response system, we’ll be asking what YOUR view is on the following resolution: “Canadian governments should encourage more private finance and for-profit delivery within our health care system.” At the CORA meeting you will get to see Drs. Michael Rachlis (renowned author and consultant in health policy analysis) and Brian Day (Candidate President-Elect of the Canadian Medical Association) debate the topic that’s been front page news.
